While I didn't see this bird in my backyard, the pictures were too cool not to post. We went bird watching and while driving back through Murfreesboro, we saw this Red-tailed Hawk sitting on a power line. We took some pictures and watched him for awhile, when he suddenly swooped down to catch something in the grass. This bird was huge and one of my favorite hawk's.
These are my favourite birds. I can't imagine how awesome that was to see him on the ground. So happy you got these shots and shared them!!!
